All parts are hand made and are made not just by the skilled craftsman of Yamato Budogu but also other kendo bogu craftsmen across Japan that has been in close partnership with us for more than half a century.

All designs and photos are for reference only as it may vary depending on order requirement and also the consideration of the individual craftsmen to create a complete set of bogu with a balance aesthetic to match its function.

Any other requests such as wider or narrower stitch, dou colour and design, etc. can be accommodated by request and price varies due to material and production cost.

All bogu are made to order with measurements taken from customers and will only be crafted after discussion on details and confirmed order.

Estimated time of production varies from 6 to 18 months depending on the desired complexity and decoration.
